When combined, these two options can correct common septum-related issues while also improving the overall cosmetic appearance of the nose.
Tip-only rhinoplasty is a specialized procedure that refines the tip of your nose, reducing a bulbous tip or giving definition to a poorly defined tip. Because this is one of the most artistic procedures in plastic surgery, experience and an eye for the masculine profile is crucial for achieving optimal results.
The Procedure
Dr. Timothy Janiga performs rhinoplasty for men using general anesthesia in Reno-area outpatient surgery centers. The procedure typically involves an incision both underneath and inside the nose. The underlying cartilage and bone are often reshaped. Sometimes, cartilage grafts are used to improve and refine the appearance of the nasal tip and dorsum. Dr. Janiga will work very closely with you to help you achieve your desired look.
This procedure takes approximately one to three hours with one to two hours of recovery time before leaving the surgery center. Then, you can return home with the help of a trusted friend or family member.

Recovery & Results
Nasal splints are usually left in place for one week after your surgery. Once removed, you can return to work and light activities based on Dr. Janiga’s instructions. Full results are expected within three to nine months.
