The Procedure

During a BodyTite procedure, our board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Timothy Janiga uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipoplasty) radiofrequency energy as an alternative to traditional liposuction and plastic surgery. After a local anesthetic and sedative are administered, a small incision is made and a wand is inserted under the skin’s surface. The BodyTite device is moved over the target area, using RF energy to melt away fat cells, tighten skin, and contour your body.

The BodyTite procedure is ideal for areas of the body with stubborn fat and loose skin. Some of the most popular treatment sites include the stomach, arms, chest, knees, and thighs. You can receive treatment in multiple areas in a single office visit. Each area takes approximately 30 minutes to treat. BodyTite is an outpatient procedure so you can return home right away.

Recovery & Results

BodyTite results are almost immediate but will continue to improve for up to a year. Most patients enjoy slimmer arms, a toned and tightened abdomen, a reshaped lower back, and tighter inner and outer thighs, and overall tighter skin and reduced body fat.

BodyTite recovery is minimal compared to traditional liposuction or body contouring surgery – about one to two days – but can last up to 10 days, depending on which areas are treated.
