What is DiamondGlow®?
Have you heard about HydraFacial®? At Janiga MDs, we want to introduce you to the new DiamondGlow treatment, which features all the benefits of HydraFacial® and more! DiamondGlow® is an advanced treatment that combines the exfoliating capabilities of microdermabrasion with a dermal infusion system to resurface the skin without causing severe skin irritation.
DiamondGlow® can also be personalized to your unique needs with SkinMedica pro infusion serums, designed to address all skin types and specific skincare concerns, ranging from dryness to antiaging to collagen stimulation, directly delivered into the skin. In a single session, DiamondGlow® can achieve instantly noticeable results with softer, glowing skin – without side effects or downtime. DiamondGlow® is a physician-grade facial built specifically for your skin care needs and can be used either as part of your regular skincare regimen or as a boost before a big event.
Options for the DiamondGlow® Facial
DiamondGlow® offers gentler exfoliation than chemical peels and can benefit any skin type. It can be used to treat signs of aging and maintain healthy, youthful skin. It can also be used in combination to support the results of your laser or surgical procedure. During your consultation, your Janiga MDs provider can help you select the right serums for your compromised skin quality. Its topical cosmetic serums include powerful ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, peptides, and more.
Some of the most common skin concerns that can be improved by DiamondGlow® include acne, pigmentation, wrinkles, fine lines, scars, visible pores, oily skin, sagging skin, dryness, and uneven skin texture. You’ll also discuss the proper frequency and schedule of treatments in order to achieve your goals. If you have a big event coming up, let us know and our team can help you plan your timeline accordingly.
The Procedure
DiamondGlow® aesthetic treatments begin by consulting with our skincare team to develop a personalized treatment plan. At this time, you will also select your Pro-Infusion Serum based on our team’s recommendations and your goals. The unique DiamondGlow® handpiece is a specialized machine that exfoliates skin with diamond-tipped microdermabrasion, extracts the pores with gentle suction, and delivers topical cosmetic serums simultaneously. As the top layer is exfoliated, dead skin cells are removed, and healthy new skin cells resurface the skin. The process takes under an hour, and you’ll see instant results with this clinically proven dermabrasion treatment.
Recovery & Results
You can enjoy brighter skin and a noticeable glow immediately after your DiamondGlow® treatment. You may have some residual redness, but it should subside within a few hours. It’s best to avoid washing your face for the rest of the day and allow your skin to absorb the benefits of your treatment fully. You will notice your skin appears brighter 2-3 days after treatment (sometimes called the “Diamond Glow”). It is essential as well to wear SPF 30+ following your treatment to prevent sun exposure hyperpigmentation, and skin discoloration.
Although you’ll see noticeable results with a single session, we recommend a monthly or quarterly DiamondGlow facial treatment to fully address your concerns and maintain your skin’s new glow. Dr. Jennifer Janiga and her team can help you understand the best schedule for your goals as well as how to support your results at home with our medical-grade skincare products.
