Explore Advanced Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatments
At JanigaMDs, we offer a wide range of laser skin rejuvenation treatments, including 3 for Me, CO2 resurfacing, and photofacials. Which one is right for you will depend on your skin concerns, your skin type, and the results you’re looking for. Dr. Jennifer Janiga or her associates will recommend a treatment plan after your initial consultation.
Understanding the 3 For Me Treatment
The 3 For Me treatment is a comprehensive solution that treats 3 things (hence “3 for Me”) which include brown and age spots, redness or facial veins, and wrinkles and fine lines. We use a combination of lasers such as intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, ICON erbium microbeam laser, and/or CO2 laser resurfacing.
This treatment can be customized to be done in 3-4 smaller treatments once every 4-8 weeks with less downtime, or you can have a larger treatment with more intensity done in one sitting if you prefer to have it completed at once.
Achieving a Radiant Complexion with Photofacials
If pigmentation issues or sun damage are your main concerns, a photofacial can offer significant improvements. A photofacial can treat pigmentation by targeting pigment in the skin and bringing it to the surface so it can slough off. Beyond pigmentation concerns, a photofacial can also treat background redness and visible blood vessels. As an additional benefit, it will also stimulate collagen with the heat that it delivers to the skin. The number of treatments needed can vary depending on the severity of the concern, but most patients achieve optimal results in 2-4 sessions with maintenance once per year.
CO2 Resurfacing
This laser is the gold standard for improving wrinkles that have been etching into the skin over time. We most commonly use this laser for maintenance once every 2 to 3 years to smooth out the skin, and it can be done alone or in combination with other lasers like in the 3 for Me. CO2 Resurfacing has the best results for etched and fine lines, but it also can require the most recovery. Be sure to discuss what the recovery looks like during your consultation with Dr. Janiga or associates to determine if this is the right laser for you.
Why Fall is the Best Time for Laser Treatments
Undergoing laser treatments in the fall is particularly advantageous as sun exposure is less intense, reducing the risk of post-treatment complications. It’s also a strategic time to have these procedures done because winter is a season where we tend to spend more time indoors, which means that starting your regimen now can ensure your skin is bright and beautiful before the summer season comes around again. By choosing laser skin rejuvenation in the fall or winter months, you’re setting your skin up for success, ensuring you look your absolute best.
