- This is a surgery and should be performed in an operating room
- Is traditionally done through one of three types of incisions
- Can be done with either saline or silicone implants
- Saline and Silicone implants are both FDA approved
- Implants come in many shapes, sizes and textures
- Implants have a life of 10-15 years and may need to be replaced after that time
- Enlargement has not been shown to disrupt the ability to breast feed
- Recovery is 7-10 days for daily activities
- You may return to working out in about 3 weeks

There are three types of incisions, depending on your current breast size and shape as well as your expected size and outcome, the incision will either be made under the breast, in the armpit, or circularly around the areola. Dr. Janiga will explain further during your consultation.
